Modules
Each writes to the same dataset, so a job booked in the office, a signature captured in a plant room and an invoice raised the same evening are three views of one event — never three systems to reconcile.
Recurring service frequencies come from the contract, not from memory. Drag-and-drop the day, see technician availability, skills and certifications, and dispatch changes to the field instantly.
Real addresses, real geocoding, real drive times. Every site pinned, every technician tracked against the plan, and every job reachable in one tap from the map.
The day sequences itself around service windows, drive time, technician skill and chemical certification. Emergency call-outs slot in and the rest of the round re-plans around them.
The whole visit in the technician's hand: job sheet, site history, findings, photographs, chemical usage and sign-off. Works with no signal and syncs when it finds one.
The customer signs on the device before the technician leaves. The signed order is timestamped, geo-tagged and attached to the job — no paperwork travelling back in a van.
Every product held with its registration number, active ingredient, approved use and safety data sheet. Every application logged with quantity, location, target species and the applicator's certification.
Stock by warehouse and by van, consumption booked against the job that used it, reorder points that fire before a technician arrives without bait. Wastage becomes visible instead of assumed.
Leads, quotations, proposals, contracts, renewals, invoices and support tickets in one place, each tied to the site it belongs to. The commercial history and the service history stop living apart.
Your clients see their sites, visit history, reports, open actions and invoices under your brand and your domain — and stop phoning the office to ask when someone is coming.
Service reports, audit packs, chemical registers and compliance documentation generated from the record rather than retyped into it. PDF, branded, or a read-only link for an auditor.
Revenue per technician, first-time fix rate, route efficiency, contract profitability, callback frequency by site. The numbers that tell you which contracts are worth renewing.
Every point you agreed to inspect carries its own tag — bait stations, traps and monitors, and rooms, stores, offices and loading bays. The technician scans it as the work there is finished, and the finding attaches to that exact point.
Bespoke means the eleven are scoped, configured and extended around your operation. What each one contains is agreed in discovery, not assumed from a feature list.
Routing & maps
Most pest control rounds are built from a whiteboard and a technician's memory of the traffic. That works until someone leaves, a call-out lands, or the book grows past what one person can hold.
Green Mantis sequences the day against real constraints and re-plans when the day changes.
Technician app
The re-typing is what costs your evenings. A technician who records the visit properly on the device has already produced the service report, the chemical entry and the customer's signed copy by the time they reach the van.
Service points
A service point is not only a bait station. A room, a store, an office, a loading bay, an insect light trap — anything you agreed to inspect gets an NFC tag or a printed barcode fixed to it, and that tag is the point's identity for the life of the contract.
The technician scans it as the work at that point is finished. The scan stamps the time, the person and the position, then carries what they record there: the reading, the finding, a photograph, and a recommendation with an owner. A round showing thirty scans in the right order is proof of attendance no clipboard can produce — and a point nobody could reach is logged as exactly that, with a reason, rather than quietly skipped.
Customer portal
A self-service portal under your brand and your domain. Clients see their own sites, the last visit, open recommendations, their documentation and their invoices — without an email to your office.
For food-safety clients it does something more valuable: it puts the audit evidence in their hands the moment they need it, which is the single thing they most often blame a contractor for.
BI & analytics
Not a list of jobs. The handful of numbers that decide where the next technician goes and which contract gets re-priced at renewal.
Illustrative dashboard. Figures are sample data from a demonstration tenant.
Platform
Green Mantis is built on Perfex, an established business platform with thousands of installations behind it. The back office is proven code from day one; our work goes into the pest layer and into fitting the whole thing to your operation.
That is what makes a bespoke build affordable. You are not paying anyone to reinvent invoicing.
Mature, in production across thousands of installations, working on day one.
The pest layer and the fit to your operation — scoped in discovery, built to your process.
How a build runs
The order matters. Discovery is where the cost of the whole project is decided, and it is the step most vendors skip.
We ride along, watch a real round, and map how the work is actually done — including the workarounds. What comes out is a written scope, not a wish list.
Contracts, frequencies, service types, chemical catalogue, price lists and user roles set up on the platform. Most of the operation is running before a line of custom code is written.
The pest-specific modules and anything unique to you: routing rules, report formats, portal branding, integrations with the systems you already pay for.
Clients, sites, contracts, schedules and service history brought across. History matters — trend reporting is worthless without a baseline.
Technicians trained on their own jobs, two cycles run in parallel with the old process, then paper stops. We stay on the line through the first month.
Who it's for
Pest control operators
Your technicians already do the work properly. The office is where the margin leaks — re-typing, chasing paperwork, routing by memory, invoicing a fortnight late.
In-house & food-safety teams
You own the pest management clause in your food safety plan whether or not you hold the bait key. The same system gives you continuous sight of the programme instead of a folder opened the week before an audit.
Questions
Off-the-shelf works if your operation matches the vendor's assumptions. Most do not — you have a service type nobody else offers, a client who demands a particular report format, a pricing structure the software cannot express. The usual outcome is that the business bends to the software. A bespoke build on a proven platform costs less than most people expect precisely because the back office is already written; you are paying for the fit, not the foundation.
Weeks rather than quarters for a typical operator: discovery and configuration take the first fortnight, the pest-specific build and migration the next few, then two service cycles run in parallel before paper stops. The variable is data — a clean client and contract list moves quickly, twelve years of spreadsheets does not.
That is a requirement, not a feature. Technicians work in chillers, basements, silos and on sites where the wifi is a guest network they cannot join. The app holds the whole visit locally and syncs when it finds a network, and the timestamps recorded are those of the work, not of the sync.
A captured signature, timestamped and geo-tagged against a specific work order, is stronger evidence than a paper docket in a van — but electronic signature law differs by jurisdiction and by what the document is being used for. If you need signatures to carry weight in a contractual dispute, take advice on your own jurisdiction before relying on them; we are not lawyers.
Clients, sites, contracts, schedules, service history and chemical records import from spreadsheets or from a CSV export out of most incumbent systems. Bringing history across matters more than people expect: trend reporting and contract profitability are meaningless without a baseline.
We host and manage the instance — no server for you to run, no version for you to patch. The data is yours: a full export in open formats at any time, and on exit you take the complete dataset with no retention period.
Yes. Client-facing reports, emails and the self-service portal run under your logo, your colours and your domain. Your customers see your brand; Green Mantis stays behind it.
A one-off build fee against the scope agreed in discovery, then a monthly fee covering hosting, support and maintenance. We do not publish figures because the build cost depends entirely on what discovery finds, and a number quoted before that walk-through is a number somebody has to walk back.
Next step
Twenty minutes, one of your actual service days, and we will show you what it looks like scheduled, routed, worked and invoiced in the system. If it does not obviously beat what you have, we will say so.
Every point you agreed to inspect carries an NFC tag or a printed barcode — bait stations, insect light traps and monitors, and equally a dry store, an office or a loading bay. The technician holds the phone to the tag as the work at that point is finished, and the scan stamps the time, the technician and the position before they record the reading, the finding, a photograph and any recommendation. NFC suits most fixed points; barcodes cost less, print on ordinary label stock and survive washdown areas where a tag would not last. Both write to the same point record, so you can mix them across one site.
